Alexandra R. Harrington
is a counsel to Powers & Company. She is a cum laude graduate of New York University , where she was a dual major in Politics and History, and Albany Law School of Union University. Prior to law school, Ms. Harrington interned in the New York State Senate Majority Counsel's Office, where she worked with issues such as privacy law, identity theft, corporate government, and education law. During law school, Ms. Harrington was the Editor-in-Chief of the Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology, a finalist in the Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Competition, and was involved in researching gun litigation and tort reform. Ms. Harrington is the author of several law review articles focusing on domestic and international constitutional law, religion and the law, international law, comparative politics, and election law. She has experience in legal fields including zoning and land use law, constitutional law, state and federal environmental law, intellectual property, commercial law, and legislative drafting.
